Telecommunications services, from Leicester.
Ban Group Limited is registered for other telecommunications activities (SIC 61900) and is registered at Merus Court, Meridian Business Park, Leicester.
The work is practical: surveying what is there, installing and terminating cabling, building comms rooms that can be worked on, testing links and recording the results, finding faults properly, and handing over documentation that somebody else can use.
Now the regulatory line, because telecoms has one that is easy to cross without noticing. Providing a public electronic communications network or a public electronic communications service in the UK brings obligations under the Communications Act 2003, including notifying Ofcom and complying with the General Conditions of Entitlement - which cover things like access to emergency services, number portability, contract information for customers and membership of an approved alternative dispute resolution scheme.
We do not hold ourselves out as providing a public network or a public communications service, we are not a communications provider notified to Ofcom, we hold no telephone number allocations, and we do not provide telephone service, voice calls, access to emergency services or number portability to the public. If the company begins to do any of that, the obligations apply and this website will have to say so properly.
Nor are we a licensed spectrum operator, and we do not install or maintain anything requiring a wireless telegraphy licence that we do not hold.
